| Often coaches fiction general & owners want their lineman big, but not TOO big. And HOW you are big makes a big difference in how fiction general you are perceived. Roger Clemens & David Wells are both 6'4", & weigh around 235-240. However, Clemens works fiction general out a lot, is in good shape, has good muscle tone, while Wells refuses to work out & is soft, so he is classified as fat, even though, for his height & frame size, he is not all that heavy. And I have to admit, as a sports fan who has seen both of them a lot, David looks kind of chunky to me while Roger just seems like a big, strong, conditioned athlete. Andy Pettitte is 6'5", 235-240, & works out a lot, so he is also not fat. That is tragic that Bechler killed himself over 10 pounds. Working out in the pre-season should have taken care of 10 pounds, working out should have gotten him in better shape, regardless of his weight, & 10 pounds is not a lot to be worrying over, or for coaches to be hassling someone about. |
