Wacky as it sounds, I constantly hear size 8 women complaining disaster recovery about how fat they are and that they need to go on a diet. The only men disaster recovery of comparable size I ever hear saying such things are gay. Straight guys have to be at least 40 or 50 pounds over "chart ideal" before they start worrying about it. I'm sure disaster recovery part of that is because men tend to be taller and thus have a longer frame on which to distribute the fat. But it's also because women are still valued for their decorative appeal above all else, and a man's insecurities still have more to do with money than looks. |

| As I said before Space is Power and I believe "society" which is essentially sexist cannot deal with a woman taking up her power and that is why we have far reading group guides more to deal with when we are fat.
