While the author's large hong kong (china) and rapid weight loss, using sensible food choices and exercise, is inspirational, he spends too much of the book simply parroting his favorite self help gurus - verbatim. If you're familiar with hong kong (china) the work of Anthony Robbins in particular, you will find this distracting. I tossed the book aside in disgust after the first few chapters but eventually came back to it. There are some honest moments where he seems to actually write in his own voice about the physical and psychological anguish of obesity. But these moments didn't come often enough for me to be able to recommend this book. Was this review helpful to you?
