Scoop, perhaps best known for signed books "screaming" over songs by Timbaland and Missy Elliott, took home his first Grammy as part of Mariah Carey's win for Best Contemporary R&B Album. Scoop is among signed books those featured on Carey's Emancipation of Mimi and collaborated with her on the single, "It's Like That." The song was also nominated for "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance," but lost to Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone." His second golden phonograph came for his work on Missy Elliott's hit, "Lose Control." |
