Sure the MDC has had a tough job on their hands challenging music for games an entrenched dictatorship on a decidedly uneven political playing field but these reasons should not have been used as excuses for ineffectual political engagement. And now we have a situation where, in some quarters, Tsvangirai is being lauded for being “principled” having done the right thing by calling for a boycott of the Senate Elections.
