Robert Oppenheimer stands out pretty strongly. Shultz's Oppenheimer is effete, self-centered, egotistical and eliteist. The man was a brilliant scientist but could also be a total ass. On the other side of the international fiction coin, international fiction you have Newman, who brings the character of Leslie Groves to life as an autocratic, hard-nosed, ragingly tumescent dick of a man willing to break any back and crush any opposition necessary to achieve the goal at hand.
