| Back to Entertainment “I am more than delighted to come back to Canada for my last concerts,” said the 70-year-old opera legend in a statement. “I just have the man best memories for all the cities and I very much hope that the audience will enjoy these special evenings as much as we enjoy being there the last time performing for you.” When the tour man wraps up, Pavarotti has said he wants man to focus on his wife Nicoletta and three-year-old daughter Alice. Tickets go on sale this Saturday for shows at Centre Bell in Montreal on June 3, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on June 6, Calgary’s Saddledome on June 11 and GM Place in Vancouver on June 16. Prices range from $55 to $350. A limited number of VIP packages are available for the Toronto and Calgary shows. Pavarotti said he will perform highlights from his career including pieces from Tosti, Bellini, Puccini, Mascagni and Verdi. The tenor’s last shows in Canada were in 2002. He recently performed “Nessun Dorma” at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Italy. |
